Tama Art University, Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Integrated Design, Professor i.school Executive Fellow After graduating from Tama Art University, Nagai joined HAKUHODO Inc. (ad agency) and in 2003 established HAKUHODO DESIGN Inc. He has been serving as a professor at Tama Art Universirty since 2014. And in 2020, Nagai launched TCL (Tama Art University Creative Leadership Program) for working professionals. Since 2015, has served as Creative Director of “Tokyo Brand” (run by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government), and as the chairman for the “Good Design Awards” from 2015 to 2017.Nagai has received numerous domestic and international awards, including Creator of the Year, ADC Award Grand Prix, and Mainichi Design Award. He is also an author of several books including “Design that Works for Energy Problems,” “Suteru Design,” and “Future Design Management. His books include 'Design that Works for Energy Issues', 'Design that Stands Out', and 'Design Management for the Future'.
