I think the key difference between the many generative AIs and an “expert AI” is that the latter learns from knowledge that is difficult to access on the internet—insights unique to seasoned experts. I would like people to ask an expert AI about ways of thinking, philosophies, and value standards (what truly matters) that they would want to hear from experts themselves. In addition, an expert AI can also be used to formulate questions. It can help you nurture your curiosity and discover what you want to learn. The “finding questions” function is the entry point: it supports you in identifying your path, setting your own research themes, and discovering topics for inquiry-based learning. In short, it helps you grow your own sense of “Why?”. Both high school students and working adults who are trying to learn something should be able to make full use of it.

I have conducted a seminar for graduate students called 'Attack Me,' where I told them to 'take down Shunya Yoshimi.' About i.school Technologies
i.school Technologies Co., Ltd. is a company born from the i.school innovation education program that started at the University of Tokyo in 2009. Hori, the executive director of i.school, conceived the idea of Expert AI and began developing a prototype program in November. The company was established in January 2024 and officially launched in June. Through Expert AI, we aim to explore new ways of learning.
